Creating Abundantly
By now you have likely studied the laws of attraction, visualized your outcome, created your vision board and done the footwork. So what is the deal?
Many times client’s will ask me “where is my soul mate?” or “will I get that job”. Time does not exist within the realm of spirit, but what I will see is the distance between the desired experience and the individual’s energy field. That distance is the tell-tale marker of vibrational resonance and the state of allowing. When you do not yet have the desired experience, it isn’t that that laws aren’t working on your behalf. They are immutable and ever present. It is that your doubt is still present and your energy is likely focused on the gap between you and what you desire.
I’ve witnessed clients who profoundly want a soul mate. Perhaps he is energizing this creative happening daily by truly feeling the sensations of having and being within that outcome as though it has happened. But then, he is observing the lack of its presence more often than feeling the emotional resonance of being and having that true love flourishing in present time. That observation occurs because doubt is present. And that doubt or perception of the void of having is energy in action. It is a vibrational equivalent to “not having”.
Is it easy to visualize being prosperous when you are in the midst of financial struggle? Not when you identify with the physical world as your source of peace, fulfillment and abundance. That identification means you believe in the financial struggle as a reality that is happening outside of you. But when you feel your true nature as an eternal divine being, knowing that immutable laws of love govern you– duality fades and doubt disappears. You are one with all-that-is. You are powerful to manifest any reality you are willing to energize.
Here are four easy ways of moving the energy from doubt and lack into faith and having/being.
Breathe deeply and remember who you are. You are not your body, mind and emotions. You are a soul having a physical experience. Feel into your pure essence of love, light and truth. Say in your mind or aloud: “I am a soul. I am eternal. I am the light, love and truth of divine essence flowing into my mind, body and emotions now”. Feel into this truth and practice tuning into this reality. Set an alarm 3-4 times throughout your day, place it on a chime or uplifting sound-setting if possible and use that moment to breathe deeply into your soul self. Breathing in and out, feel into your true essence.
Appreciate. As you breathe into your soul-self and feel into your immutable nature, take time to appreciate your whole being. Appreciate your breath, your body and your surroundings. Appreciate being a soul in a physical world. Appreciate having this moment, having consciousness and being able to appreciate. Feel your ability to appreciate and whatever you appreciate will expand into your life.
Allow validations from spirit to show up. Spirit is always providing signs of its supportive presence in your life. When you ask for, acknowledge and appreciate validations from spirit, your vibration is in alignment with having and being. One sign that my father is present and supporting me from the world of spirit, is through a hawk flying over me. One day when I was visiting his grave, I sat in prayerful meditation and said “Father, reveal your presence to me”. Just then, a beautiful, red-tailed hawk swooped down over my head and circled me several times before ascending and floating in the high sky. Was my father a hawk? NO! But by opening to the validation, I knew this was a physical way of showing his presence. It came in a form I did not expect and my heart welled with gratitude. That state of allowing signs from spirit to show up without attaching to the form is resonant with being abundant.
Practice Resonance. Look around you and notice what you have created in your life that you enjoy. You have allowed these people, experiences and objects into your life. Enjoy this reality! Appreciate that you are resonant with what you have created. Feel into the sensations of having manifested whatever you are observing and appreciate your creative power. That state of appreciation is resonant with being and having. The art of creative visualization is the practice of allowing your being to radiate specific vibrational frequencies in the present so that you, as a divine spirit, can attract more of whatever is resonant to those frequencies. Meditation and creative visualization are important tools for practicing being present to the divine essence of life. By bringing the energies experienced through meditation and visualization into your daily actions, you develop harmony with what you want. Through practice, you will shift into a state of resonance with having desirable manifestations.
You have a desire because your soul wants to express a sensation that has not yet been allowed into your energy of thought and emotion so consistently that it feels natural to you. Your perception may tell you that when you have that experience or object – then you’ll be able to consistently express that sensation. But that illusion emanates from identifying with the physical world and ego. You have the power to emanate those frequencies now and the desire exists because your spirit wants to express this through you now! By feeling those sensations through creative visualization or meditation and then practicing expressing that energy in your daily life, you will become fully resonant with being and therefore having like creations.
As a limitless divine being, there your power to manifest infinite. Your mind cannot grasp this concept; its abstract to your linear brain. You, as a soul, know this truth. You were born to access, allow and therefore create whatsoever you are willing to express through you. Identify with your souls-self, appreciate your creative power, acknowledge spirit working in your life and practicing allowing the sensations of your phenomenal soul to be expressed into magnificence daily. It is your true nature to do so. And above all, have fun in the process!

Do you have a soul?
You are a soul having a physical experience. As a soul, you choose to come into a physical body for numerous reasons. As an intuitive medium, I have learned that souls choose to incarnate for the following reasons:
-To have fun creating, learning and evolving as consciousness in a physical world
-To heal through the limitations created and experienced in other lifetimes
-To serve healing through limitations of ancestors and others (to contribute to the evolution of a soul group)
-To master the sacred balance between physical and non-physical life
-To support the expansion of consciousness through humanity
-To awaken
You are a soul with a mind, body and emotions to support your physical encounter with life. Your soul is not calling you or trying to communicate with you. This is more than a problem with language; it is an error in thought and therefore an error in identification. YOU ARE THAT SOUL. When you feel as though your soul is "calling to you" it is because you have not yet fully recognized who you are. You feel "its" calling to you then you are perceiving yourself as something other than soul. You are not something other than your soul. You are a soul with a physical mind, body and emotions.
By identifying with your personality, physical mind, body and emotions, you end up feeling like your soul is something you need to find, discover and learn to understand. But you are that soul and you are already equipped with the full-blown power to navigate your soul’s language: intuition. When you shift the identification, intuition falls back into its rightful place as your primary and natural language.
In our culture soul is something we seek because we identify with our physical body, mind and emotions as though they are the truh of us. We learn to identify with our persona and then we feel that we have something true that we need to find. Soul is the eternal, non-physical essence of you. Soul is not confined to time, space or your personality. It is the essential, authentic, truth of you. Not what you learned to be; not any belief or perception you hold about you and life. As a soul, you exist beyond all limitations that feel like reality.
When you chose your physical body, your family and life experiences, you chose to express your soul’s power. Most of us live a small percentage of our soul’s powerful potential in any given lifetime. Because the soul of humanity is expanding at an accelerated rate, many of us are beginning to notice that we are more than what we have come to perceive. We are opening to the idea that we each have a purpose that is uniquely significant to the whole of life. As a soul, you are infinitely powerful to create, expand, heal, awaken and thrive!
What did you come here to do? You were born with innate talents and skills that are pure expressions of your soul. These innate talents and skills will come through as natural interests. When you express soul essence you feel alive, expansive, joyful and true. You lose connection with the physical constraints of time and space, often called being in flow. You move with ease and effortlessness even if you are exerting physical, mental or emotional energy because soul is moving through your being freely.
To begin living your soul potential, you start with a shift in perception. You are a soul. You are a divine essence of non-physical energy existing as a holographic matrix of pure potential. As a soul, you have the power to witness and express through your body, thoughts, emotions and personality effortlessly.
If you are thinking "this is hard" that is your mind or personality perception, adpated through life experience. Soul has no faith in personality beliefs. It is not limited to physical realities or limitations. Any thought that confines your potential, limits you to physical rules and logic are perceptions birthed from and therefore limited to physical dimensions alone. But you as a soul, are not. You are larger than your mind, body, emotions and personality. You have wisdom and resources that defy logic and physical constraints.
Are you willing to experience life beyond anything you have imagined you can be and have? Your life will be limited if you identify with your mind, emotions and physical body alone. Every breakthrough we experience in this world arises through an expression of soul. You cannot go too far by believing you are a person with a soul. You will transcend all limitation when you shift from identifying with your physical being to your eternal essence and recognizing you are a soul. Stop right now, breathe deeply into your belly, allow your whole abdomen to be filled with air. Slowly exhale. Take your hand and place it over your solar plexus. Say: "I am a soul". Feel into this. Do you feel the truth of this? Place your hand over your heart. Say slowly, "I am a soul". Feel your energy expanding as you acknowledge this truth.
If it is true that you are non-physical eternal essence having a physical experience, what do you sense your soul wants to experience through your physical being? If you try to answer from your mind alone, the answers will be confined to the paradigms holding our collective conscious in place. The answers are fully present within you right now because you are the soul who knows!
Soul lives in the eternal present. It never seeks to delay happiness, health or fulfillment. When you feel expansive, peaceful and alive….soul is expressing truth through your body, mind and emotions. Soul expressed physically may feel like: calm, safe, capable and vibrant energy. Mentally you will feel clear, decisive, open and curious. Emotionally you feel serene, present, fulfilled and compassionate. When your soul is being held back from its expression through your physical being you feel sluggish, anxious, doubtful, paranoid, confused, chaotic or rigid. Emotionally you feel blocked, shut down, closed off, overwhelmed, drained or hyper, uneasy, depressed, compulsive and anxious. You may feel stuck, labored, heavy or hyper, sick, weak or easily influenced by external forces.
Your mind is equipped to allow you as a soul to expand through every limiting thought into inspired knowing. Your emotions are equipped to allow you as a soul to experience and express through every limiting feeling into inspired sensation. Your body is equipped to allow you as a soul to express perfect vitality. You as a soul have chosen to express these aspects of Source Energy in your own creative ways. You did not come to suffer or struggle. You did not come to "pay a price" for past transgressions or "learn through pain".
As a soul you have the power to:
-Enjoy learning and evolving
- Heal through limits into ever increasing expansiveness
- Serve and promote healing in others
- Master the sacred dance between physical and non-physical realities
- Support conscious expansion
- And awaken
You are a soul! You are eternal essence living in a physical world. You were not your personality prior to birth; you will not exist as your personality after birth. So who is the soul that has come into your physical persona, body, mind and emotions? Begin asking and be willing to discover answers that surpass your beliefs.
Next blog entry will discuss how to easily live as a soul in the physical world.
In peace, Lori

A Golden Path of Joy
To live a soul path is an act of consciousness. Intuitive living is a conscious choice of aligning with your soul. Your body, emotions, thoughts will reveal when you are making a soulful choice and when you are choosing to express a limitation based on a personality belief. Soulful choices feel peaceful, expansive and uplifting. Non-soulful choices feel tight, anxiety provoking, prickly and heavy.
Bliss can be a great an indicator of soulful living. When your soul is expressing through you, you will feel light, easy and true. Life flows. You feel expectant and open and that is your natural state. When you are in your natural state, you are living in concert with your highest soul-self. When you are in anything else, you are resisting your soul's highest expression.
Allowing your soul to express through you does not equate with only experiencing happiness, though your natural state will always return you to equanimity and joy. When you are soul-aligned, you energy patterns of expansiveness and openness will allow you to express the full range of human emotions without resistance. When sadness arises, you will express it fully and then return to your natural state of equanimity without having to “try to be happy.”
Resistance to living your soul path is learned. As an infant you lived in your soul state of expectancy and openness. If you needed something, you expressed the need through your physical being. You did not think: “I wonder if crying is ok right now? Should I laugh? Would a squeal be appropriate?" As an infant, you expressed your soul freely, moment to moment.
Resistance is an unnatural state of being and feels uncomfortable in the body, mind and emotions. Resistance is sticky because it can be so habitual that you perceive that state as natural. You know when you are experiencing resistance to your soul’s true expression when you feel: tension, anxiety, depression, fear, panic or you have to do something/be something/have something in order to feel safe or positive.
Suffering is a human condition consistent with holding onto perceptions, beliefs, things, people, places, outcomes as though they will keep you happy or prevent you from experiencing pain. We have all been taught to resist our soul through modeling and direct indoctrination into this physical human experience. Resistance prevents our soul from expressing its infinite creative potential. But you were born to break through resistance and express miraculous creations!
We resist because we believe in what we are clinging to, not because we want to experience pain. That tension between our soul’s profound desire to express and the belief that holding on prevents us pain is the seed of suffering. But it can also be the seed to creativity! When we let go of the resistance, we experience relief and discover qualities within ourselves that we could not know were present until we open to that soulful expression urging us toward change.
To live a soul path is to allow your exquisite soul power to move you through resistances. A soulful life is not necessarily free from resistance. Instead, you willingly notice your resistances and do not judge them or identify with them. You breathe into your body, witnessing where you hold onto an idea, pattern, person or place as though your life depends on it! Breathing deeply, you consciously open your heart and allow compassion to flow into your being and the observation of your experience. If emotions arise, you allow them to flow. There is a good reason you formed your resistance because at the moment you formed the belief or attachment, it made sense to you. But this perception is holding back your beautiful soul from creating a whole new experience through you and for you. Breathe deeply into whatever is present and allow your compassion into this awareness.
As you observe yourself, notice that you have the ability to observe your resistance and even your pain. You are witnessing where you are holding on, where you are stuck. You are even able to witness your emotions. Who is the observer? You. As a soul, you are physically integrated into your mental, emotional and physical being but you do not ever separate from your higher, divine self. And that higher soul-self is never identified with your physical, mental or emotional experience. Your higher soul-self exists in a state of pure bliss, aware of your physical experiences, understanding how they came to be. Your higher soul-self is fully aware of how to transform whatever you encounter into a joyful, fruitful endeavor. When you consciously and compassionately witness yourself, you gently identify with the observer rather than the experience, habit or emotion being experienced. Therein lies your power of intuitive or conscious living.
Soulful liberation is the intentional act of allowing your soul-self to shine through you in present time, no matter what you encounter. That is the path of intuitive living and conscious manifesting. When resistance arises, you are not identified with the resistance. You are a witness to it and simultaneously experiencing it fully until the energy flows back into freedom and returns you to your natural state of being. The observer is always present and not resisting the awareness or emotions of any given moment. The “you” that is resisting is your personality self: the identity through which your soul wants to expand.
Resistance is a gift revealing you where you have adapted a belief, perception or habit that prevents your soul-self from creating expansively into the golden path that is yours to experience. This is an exciting opportunity. Your personality uses resistance moments to reinforce its perceptions; your soul sees these moments as an opporunity to evolve and create! When you allow your soul into the equation, you unlease the power and presence of your divinity to create through and for you.
Your personality has a role in this lifetime. It allows you to be human and to experience the creative power of your spirit through physical, mental and emotional expression. It also allows you to experience extraordinary creative power. And it allows you to learn and transcend where you have become stuck in your creative process throughout lifetimes.
To truly understand creative power, duality was provided. The spirit then experiences creative expanse from bliss to despair. This spectrum of creation allows humans to realize creative potentials independently from Source as a creative power. It allows freedom. It allows us to intentionally direct our energy into concert with soul by choice. Without this spectrum of duality, humans would not experience the full measure of free will.
Enlightenment is not experienced through an epiphany, though epiphanies often serve as gateways to one’s soul-truth. To experience a soul path, one must consciously choose it one step at time. Soulful living happens through choices that allow free creation until soulful expression happens spontaneously moment-to-moment.
If you want to experience a fulfilling love relationship, more financial flow, perfect health or anything else, your soul wants to show you how! By listening to your soul’s urging, breathing into the feelings of resistance that have created what you currently have and identifying with the witness rather than the fear, you will shift from a path of frustration and disappointment into one that radiates your true blissful being. You are the source of your fulfillment. You have the power to create a golden path of joy, one soulful moment at a time!
Above all, be gentle with you and have fun shining your soul light! Namaste, Lori

Wake Up Call!
It is humbling to be a teacher of intuitive living while experiencing my own resistances to it. My soul is yearning to express a truth that I have quieted for a long time. I began quieting certain soulful truths because I associated their expression with pain. Each time I shutdown an aspect of my soul’s truth, I was trying to control the hurt while creating a concurrent sort of suffering. It seemed a logical choice to move away from pain. And I even convinced my self, long ago, that is was healthy.
But th soul will not sit in the background comfortably adhering to resistances. The soul will consistently reach for expression, even through years and even lifetimes of resistance.
I teach in Intuitive Empowerment courses how to discern divine guidance from the ego’s desires. Divine, soulful truth is consistent. It does not follow trends or attempt to be popular. Your soul does not care about fitting in or making waves. Your soul is yearning for the expression of its truth because soulful truth always enhances life for all concerned. Soulful expression will yield the greatest mental, emotional, physical and spiritual results.
If soulful expression uplifts and enhances life, does it make sense that we resist it? We are taught early in life that our desires are not acceptable to our family and larger cultural paradigms in which we were raised so we tend to associate soulful expression with fear, deprivation and struggle. As a child I was able to see, feel and understand subtle energy but there was no place where this experience was normalized or nurtured. How often has a child been told not to follow his or her natural talents and passions into a career because doing so may be impractical and lead to financial struggle? How often are children told to be quiet, sit still, to focus and behave in certain ways when the body is urging him or her to be loud, move and creatively flow? We have come to believe that soulful expression will yield pain, disappointment and struggle. We have come to believe that fitting in, following trends, and not making waves is appropriate.
The soul does not delay happiness. It is not interested in struggle and it will not lead us into suffering. Soulful expression will help us to heal from the beliefs we have adapted that limit our joy, health and fulfillment. It will express these immutable essences the moment we stop resisting them.
The soul is only expressed in the present. My soul is bigger, stronger, and wiser than any fearful doubt I may have in any given moment. And so is yours! Today I am making a choice to allow my soul to express freely through my intentional presence and allowing. I breathe deeply into my body, remember that my soul only seeks to heal, nurture and uplift. As I listen to the passion of my soul here and now I open to and allow authentic pleasure, joy and purpose to surface moment to moment. This morning my guidance said, “It is time to awaken, Lori.” And in this moment, I am choosing to be present to this noble truth. Will you join me in awakening to your soul?

Past Lives in Present Time
When I was a little girl, I had a deep awareness of my past lifetimes and their connection to the present. I also had a soul knowing of people and places before learning any details about either. But I did not have anyone with whom I could comfortably share these impressions.
As a child I felt profoundly connected to India, remembering my former life as a male devotee to God. I had other memories of living as a male slave in the deep southern United States who had a meaningful connection to God and worked hard to inspire those around me through song and praise. I also remembered living as an indigenous medicine woman, a midwife and healer in other lifetimes.
When I was eleven, I began to have visceral memories of having lived when Jesus walked the Earth. I felt as though I knew him intimately though I had been raised Jewish and knew very little about him. He often appeared in my dreams as a teaching friend who inspired me to share my soul's truth and live my life awake. In one dream, he was crying about what "religion had done to his message" and asked for my willingness to help him shift this.
I often tried to share my memories and intuitive sense about life within Sunday school or other venues, but never found these perceptions to be welcomed. My Sunday school teacher often told me to keep my ideas to my self and I wondered why anyone would feel threatened by my intuitive insights about reality. Over time, I learned early to keep my mouth shut about my intuitive experiences.
As a teenager I had a physical response when I entered a small cathedral in France. Electric currents ran throughout my body, my heart opened and my knees buckled. I remembering feeling as though I had returned 'home'. As I stood in the cathedral, with 15 other teenagers, flashes of my life as a cloistered nun appeared in my clairvoyant sight. I said "this place feels familiar". I wanted to kneel before God and kiss the floor! Don't worry - I didn't do it!
I have to confess that I find it presumptuous to say anything about the world of spirit or energy as "fact". Instead, it feels more authentic to describe my experience as an Intuitive Medium and invite others to do the same. Thus far, my intuitive encounters with spirit reveal that we exist as immutable souls living in a continuum of life experiences. Our souls are like the cells within the Body of God or a Higher Spiritual Source that is expanding through all life, including the human experience. We are souls and not the physical identities we come to perceive and believe in as "us". As a soul, we participate in this expansion by choosing to evolve through the human experience. We then select paths that serve the evolution of the whole and do so with a team of spiritual helpers. Yes, we are given extraordinary support for this creative endeavor. And we are not ever judged for how we respond to the physical world and subsequently create. We are continually supported in learning, growing and loving through this process.
When we remember past lives, it is because those memories are relevant to this life's journey. We are not meant to romanticize the past lives we have experienced, but to use the information to serve our understanding for this lifetime. What we remember is being worked on in this life.
When I reflect upon my past life in India, I see that I had been a strong male figure in a fairly affluent family. I was highly educated and greatly influenced by the English culture in which I had been raised. I became a lawyer and then grew increasingly dissatisfied with my materialistic life. I chose to release all of my worldly possessions and move into a temple to study and eventually teach. I also had a wife who honored my choices and devoted her life to our religious path. As I lay dying in bed, my wife sat in meditation over my body. After taking my last breath, my spirit rose from my body and I was greeted by several benevolent helping spirits. Just before leaving the room, I turned back and observed my beloved wife sitting in the quiet of meditation, noticing that her devotion to me was unshakable. In that moment before I departed, I realized that I had spent my entire adult life in search of God and in service to Him; but I had not valued my wife with the same love and devotion.
In college I met the person who was my wife in that Indian lifetime. The moment we met, I knew exactly who she was to me (though I never spoke of that knowing). She and I have been the best of friends for decades and from the moment we met, I knew my soul had created the opportunity to express what I had been unable to create in the past lifetime. My soul is healing through our friendship and continues to heal and evolve as I choose to express my devotion to God through compassion, caring and kindness to friends, family and others.
Whatever you may feel about your past lives, the messages these memories provide are relevant to how we apply their meaning in present time. Your power exists in the here and now. Whether you know of your past lives or simply experience this life as significant, what you choose to do with this moment is precisely how you evolve and expand your soul and the whole of creation.
When we recognize that we are eternal souls - we no longer identify with past lives. And we nor longer identify with our current or future lives. Instead, we experience our true essence as eternally evolving and expanding through every physical creation. We gain an understanding that our personality and current life serve as vehicle for an expansion. Our core essence is pure potential that is shaped by our intention and allowing. When we gain this insight, we recognize that our soul selected this body, time and place through which to grow, contribute and have fun! So how does view of yourself as a soul living in a continuum shift your present time concerns?

If you're unfamiliar Purim, there are four basic parts to the celebration. Traditionally, the Megilla is read ~ that is the biblical Book of Esther who is the heroine of this story. As a Jew, she was living in a foreign land. Her beauty drew the attention of royalty and led her to become Queen. But Esther had to hide her Jewish identity. While Queen, she discovers that the King is planning to have all Jews killed due to erroneous information given to him by a man named Haman. Queen Esther has to dig deep within herself to discover her innate power to change the course of history. At risk of her own death, Esther cleverly exposes Haman’s true motivations to the King and the Jews are saved.
The story is about discovering one's inner strength. This Biblical Story isn’t about praying to G*d to save the innocent. Instead, Esther feels it is divine will that she has been put in a position to effect change. She goes within herself to unleash her innate power to confront the King and expose her Jewish identity even at risk of her own life.
Each person within the story has to confront him or herself in order to realize their true essence. It is easy to give one’s power to G*d or any external source as the characters of this story reveal. We can discover our innate connection to the divine and live consciously creative lives or we can live out a dependent fatalistic relationship with G*d that confines our pure potential. At Purim, we are invited to explore how we can avoid our internal power through blind faith instead of allowing the divine to be a resource for inner power and exquisite creative living! As I often hear from my guides "G*d will do for you, what you allow through you!" We have to participate in the process of allowing G*d or Divine Source Power to flow into our creative choices throughout each moment of life. And when we do, we move into the artistic dance of creating a miraculous and uplifting life for all concerned!
The second step in celebrating Purim is to give gifts to those in need ~ “at least one coin to two different people.” We are asked to give to whoever asks: regardless of who they are or what we think of them and/or their needs.
The third part of the celebration is Mishlaoch Manot ~ giving gifts of ready-to-eat foods to friends and neighbors. We share generously with those in need and give abundantly to our friends and peers. As we open to give so richly to life we consciously connect to the infinite flow of abundance always present to uplift, enhance and bless us all.
And the forth part of Purim's celebration is to PARTY!! And yep, it’s like a responsible Mardi Gras! We are even encouraged to drink...a lot! While I do not drink alcohol, I experience this invitation as a metaphor. When we allow ourselves to blur dualistic thinking, we have the ability to open to a love and joy that we may not realize is always there. By drinking into our soul self, into our divine nature we can feel the ultimate connection with all life. As we feel into the whole of life, we begin to see that we are all things, capable of all things and that we have the true power to create whatever reality we are willing to allow. We discover our true essence as infinitely connected to the Source of all creation and feel the exquisite well of love, joy, abundance and kindness that is ours to experience and share with all life.
Because Jews are one of the smallest religious groups on the Earth (less than 3% of world's population), it is fun to share my heritage and understanding of these rituals. Purim invites us to celebrate with full BLISS and abandon by honoring our connections to our innate power, to those in need and to all of our friends and community. This is a perfect metaphor for living a soul-centered life. Whether you celebrate Purim or not, perhaps today you can choose to spontaneously give to those who are in need, share abundantly with friends and neighbors, connect to your innate power and celebration the exquisiteness of life with FULL JOY!!
Simchat Purim! Happy Purim...Happy Day to all!!

The Natural You!
Intuition is a natural tool meant to allow you to live your soul’s purpose with ease; to navigate through life without struggle; and to move in the direction of your greatest fulfillment. By fine-tuning your intuitive sensory system, you can avoid danger; enhance your health; cultivate compassion and empathy; open to higher levels of discernment, precognition, manifesting skills; awaken healing powers and deepen your spiritual connection to life.
Intuitive living is not fortune telling! It is the ability to navigate your life beyond the limitations of your belief system. It gives you direct knowledge of your spirit and the spiritual support system that is available to nurture your most profound living experience.
You can reconnect with your innate intuitive sensing through simple exercises. Like any muscle, your intuitive sensory system will develop through consistent practice that enhances its strength and accuracy.
1. Shift your Identification with your Mind. You are a sacred spiritual being. You are a soul living in a physical environment that is meant to master the physical creation process. When you view you as only a physical being confined to physical laws and logical concepts that is alienated or distant from the divine, you are unconsciously commanding your intuitive sensory system to sit quietly in the background of your life. By realizing your innate spiritual essence as the foundation of you, you open to the possibilities of your limitless self. As a spiritual being in a physical body, you have access the limitless energy within. You have innate access to wisdom, health, profound insight and understanding, empathy, compassion, love, joy, pre-cognition, telepathy, communication with divinity, healing powers and awareness of resources.
2. Use Supportive Language. Your typical self-talk is constantly reinforcing your unconsciously held beliefs. Most of your beliefs are founded in limited perceptions of you and life; rarely are they founded upon spiritual truths enhancing your intuitive processing abilities. Know your thoughts but choose not to agree with them or judge them. Practice using phrases like “I am a soul! I am open to knowing myself as a soul”; “I am willing to allow my intuition to lead the way”; “I am highly intuitive now”; “I receive, trust and enact divine guidance now”; “I am a limitless spiritual being having a joyful human experience”.
3. Breathe Deeply. Feeling fearful, anxious, worried? That is your thinking mind confined to the limited perceptions of logical and physical realities. The mental body of your physical being never silences. It is an active mechanism of energy meant to be used by your soul to navigate the physical world with ease. But it has become the pilot of your life and therefore, limits your experiences. Don't worry, simply shift. Begin with learning how to breath. Place one hand on your lower abdomen. Slowly inhale through your nose for a count of 5 allowing your lungs to fill from the bottom up. Watch or feel the hand on your lower abdomen elevating as you deeply inhale. Gently hold your breath briefly and then slowly exhale to a count of 6. Do this 3 or 4 times. This process slows down your nervous system, allowing you to feel deeply into the infinite well of peace readily beneath the surface of your racing thoughts. Deep breathing stops the “fight or flight” response within the nervous system which will respond to any energy it perceives as a threat to your mental, emotional, spiritual or physical well being. That reaction allows a significant amount of adrenaline to pour throughout the body so you can decisively respond to the perceived threat. The "fight or flight" response has been with us since we were living off the land, navigating hunts, foraging for foods and generally surviving within the elements. The "fight or flight" system has not yet adjusted to the technological advances of current life (constant barrage of negatively focused news reports; work that is not soul-centered; work environments with artificial lighting, heating and constant noise; television, radio, and other consistently impactful stimulation; artificial ingredients in foods; sleep based on unnatural lighting, schedules and alarms). All this new stimulation along with other emotional patterns learned in early childhood tend to hijack your physiological system into a state of over-reactivity or shut-down which then overrides your intuitive knowing. Deep breathing re-connects you with your soulful truth and allows the stimulation of a highly ego-centered world to move through your system more peacefully.
4. Learn to Meditate. Your thinking mind is an energy that is in constant motion, chattering away about all of your perceptions, beliefs, ideas. It never ceases to be active. We live in a world that is constantly inundating you with stimulation. Most of it is not soul-centered. Your soul is infinitely limitless, connected to Source, awakened to your purpose and potential and is fully aware of all the resources required to fulfill your joyful destiny. Your soul has no chatter; no fear; no illness; no struggle. Your soul is innately peaceful, calm and willing to guide your life through the moment-to-moment path of least resistance. Meditation is a primary tool for empowering your intuitive sensory system. It moves your spirit from the background into the foreground of your experience. It allows you to notice your thoughts without engaging them; to notice your physical body without identifying with it; to witness your emotions peacefully and to feel into your true nature by experiencing your spiritual being directly. Learning to meditate is the greatest gift you will give to yourself for intuitive processing, spiritual fulfillment, knowing your soul's path and allowing your greatest potentials to be realized.
5. You have a Purpose. You are a soul born into a physical world on purpose. Your soul has unique reason for being here with gifts to share and lessons to grasp. Your purpose is not meant to be elusive to you. Once you begin to identify with your physical body, logical thinking mind and learned perceptions of life, you may lose your connection to your intuitive sensory system and your soul's purpose. You can reclaim both with willingness and practice. Give yourself permission to know your soul and discover your soul’s purpose so you can open the doorway for meaning and miraculous events to flow consistently throughout your creative process.
Intuition is your birthright. It is available to everyone. You have the power to know your soul’s purpose and live a soul-centered life by accessing your intuition and allowing it to move into the foreground of your multi-sensory being. Intuitive living simply takes willingness and practice.
I too had to reunite with my intuition. Though I have felt a connection to my intuitive process throughout my life, the deeply ingrained perceptions formed throughout my childhood left me feeling alienated from God, my soul and my innate intuitive abilities. I judged my psychic sensory skills as something “strange” and kept them hidden from teachers, family and friends. Through deliberate healing, consistent meditation (which did not come easily to me), and a daily practice of aligning with a Higher Power, my intuition moved into the foreground of my life. Miraculous events ultimately manifested, allowing me to see angels, receive direct guidance from spirit and nurture the healing process of others! I had wanted to be a psychologist to support individuals in reclaiming their connection with soul. Who would have imagined that my soul was willing to have me surpass my logical mind's idea for service into something far more phenomenal! But I had to let go of my attachment to the path I thought was best for me and doing so has allowed me to serve thousands of individuals around the globe as an intuitive medium, healer and teacher. By opening to my soul's path, I have experienced a shift from daily struggle and depression into deeper meaningful, enhanced joy and profoundly fulfilling engagement with life.
Can you imagine what you soul has in store for you? It is far more beautiful than your mind can understand. By allowing your intuitive flow to unfold, you can realize the miracles that your spirit wants to create through you. You are innately wise and unlimited as a spiritual being. All that you seek is inside you awaiting your discovery. Learn to be the midwife to your own soul by discovering your intuitive sensory system with ease and joy. Cultivate trusting your inner knowing and develop a deep connection to your sacred soul self. By doing so, you allow the miracle of you to shine brightly into this world and therefore bless your life and all others!
